Tough times don’t last but tough people do. You have got to persevere - especially now. Many people in challenging times like these tend to focus on what is not working as opposed to what is working. They do not count their blessings they count their troubles. This is a great time to be thankful for what you have and at the same time to reflect on what it is that you need to do to become even better in 2009.
Now is the time to build even better relationships with your existing clients. If your work travel is down, now is the opportunity to spend more time with your family. This is the time to figure out a way to do your business in a more financially prudent way. Now is the time to assume even more personal responsibility over improving skills. The worst thing you can do is to get paralyzed by what is happening in the economy right now. So get out there and get it done. Swing into action. Action breaks down fear and paralysis and ultimately creates success.
